Adoption

Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment, so potential adoptive homes are screened carefully by Network volunteers. We try to fit the right human companion to the right cat and ensure a secure and enduring home. Network members interact with the cats on a daily basis and can discuss the personalities of the cats and kittens.

Time: 1:00 - 4:00PM, 3rd Saturday of every month
Location: Pet Food Express, Middlefield at Charleston, Palo Alto

Steps to adoption:

  1. Browse our Adoption Gallery, listings are complete and updated regularly.
  2. If you are interested in one or more of the cats, fill out the Adoption Application.
  3. A Network member will contact you to set up an adoption appointment.

Website Update

The Feline Friends Network website is being updated to show our new name and updated information. We have taken down many of the links while we are working on the redesign.  If you would like information about a particular topic before the website is updated, feel free to call the Feline Friends Network HelpLine or send an email to helpline.ffn@gmail.com using the information as shown above, and somebody will get back to you as soon as possible.

The new website will be up and purring soon.

Mission Statement

Founded on the belief that all life should be valued and treated with dignity and respect, the Feline Friends Network (formerly the Stanford Cat Network) has a long-term commitment to the health and well-being of homeless cats on the Stanford campus.

We provide a viable alternative to euthanasia, through spay/neuter, vaccination, release and feeding of unsocialized cats, and adoption of tame cats and kittens.

We endeavor to promote community awareness of the responsible care and treatment of animals.
